My NHL Debut! (Part 2) 02/20/15
On the same night that NY RANGERS Rookie Goaltender Mackenzie Skapski made his NHL Debut, so did I! Thanks to my Elmira Jackals friends in higher places, they pulled some strings and got me here tonight! Nate, Tom, Shona & Jared, I hope I made you proud and thus deserving with my work & professional representation of the Jackals organization on this fun and exciting night! And My RANGERS won too! 3-1

Guthrie Corning Hospital – The Future IS HERE!
Took the walking tour this afternoon of the brand new Guthrie Corning Hospital Campus, and let me just say this….IMPRESSIVE!
This Facility is so Futuristic & Hi-Tech, so Beautiful, so Top Shelf…..it ALMOST makes you want to be sick, so you can spend some time there. To all involved….. A JOB TREMENDOUSLY WELL DONE! A Great Addition & Asset to our local Medical Communnity.

Army Days
Memorial Day, brings back memories from long ago, when brave young men & women went off to fight in World War II, the “War to End All War’s” or so they said……so what a perfect day to post a few more Army & Air Force themed personal favorites from this weekend’s moving Return of the Red Tails event honoring the Heroic Tuskegee Airmen of WWII, held at the Wings Of Eagles Discovery Center. As the Events Official Photographer I had the honor to spend the day amongst these hero’s, and also with one of the only two remaining P-51 Fighters that are still flying today. It was a true honor. My thanks to all the Period Re-En actors featured in these great shots.

I’ll Be Waiting….
Memorial Day, what a perfect day to post a few personal favorites from this weekend’s moving Return of the Red Tails event honoring the Heroic Tuskegee Airmen of WWII. As the Event Photographer I had the honor to spend the day amongst these hero’s, and also with one of the only two remaining P-51 Fighters that are still flying today. It was a true honor. My thanks to all the Period Re-En actors featured in these great shots… our Fly-Boy Calvin, and the lovely, vintage Miss Racquel, who looks like she just stepped out of Hollywood in the ’40’s. Great Job you two!

Frame From The Fog
All day today I had the pleasure to shoot & chronicle the delivery, installation & final mounting and presentation of a remarkably beautifully piece of art at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning, NY. This great painting, Mt. Whitney, painted by Albert Bierstadt, got a brand new custom made, period accurate frame that reflects the period accurate style & grandeur of the 1860’s- 1870’s when this painting was created. A group of talented Framing Artisians from Manhattan NYC, who themselves hand crafted this one of a kind $70,000 Masterpiece Frame, were on hand to handle the painstaking set-up, fitting and installation of this remarkable piece of art. It was a very interesting day watching this collaboration all come together! A job well done by everyone involved!
PS: After looking at that next to last image of all the guys raising that painting up on the wall….the way some of them have their hands and arms outstretched reminds me of the famous flag raising shot from Iwo Jima in World War II.

My Night @ The Mu”Z”eum…
Tonight’s Gig was the “Music & Margaritas” event @ The Rockwell Museum in Corning, and as luck would have it I ran into this infamous celebrity. Guess he heard there were lots of guns on display. I’m really glad that it was so hot out this evening, or else I may have been wearing my HOODIE…….Rutt Row!!!
Also, I just noticed the buildings in the background….they kinda look like a Prison Guard Tower….Just Sayin’.
