Lincoln, Lazarus, Stacey & Marc

Well time sure does fly by!
Way back in 2010 I shot Stacey & Marc’s Wedding, and 8 years later there are now FOUR in the family as we spent what started out as a rainy Saturday morning together at Elmira College. We had a whole lot of fun and captured some Really Nice shots for one of my all time favorite wedding couples, plus I got to know Little Lincoln….who is definitely QUITE a Character in his own right!!

“When you gotta go, you just GOTTA GO!”

So a few weeks ago I’m shooting Kelly & Joe’s Wedding down in Binghamton, NY and I’m out on the Golf Course and while I have the Bride & Groom & their Gang walking ahead of me to our shoot location, I saw our little Ring Bearer heading off into the weeds. Then, in the Hazy Glow of the Evening’s Fading Sunset, out of nowhere the Golden Showerstorm appears!!!
You just can’t make this stuff up!!
Nice underpants too! Oh to be a little kid once again!

If Looks Could Kill….

While editing a recent Wedding Shoot this one made me laugh out loud!
What could she be thinking??

Fontainebleau Dreams

From a Pretty & Very Special Shoot last Spring up at The Fontainebleau Inn located in Alpine, NY.
I shot Emilie & Mikes Wedding there 14 long years ago in 2003, and we re-connected once again while they were in the area  vacationing, this time with two little additions…. Lyla & Ruby!

Someday’s Do Come True…

In December I had a 211 Studio Shoot of a couple of “Rose’s”, my friend Mike & his Dad Chuck, both local Firefighters.
Mike is a Firefighter with the Corning City F.D. as well as a member here of the Horseheads F.D., while his Dad Chuck is a member of the Elmira Heights F.D.
Mike also brought to the shoot an old picture from when he was just a four year old boy at the Ward ’79 Parade in 1983, standing with & dreaming of joining his Fireman Daddy someday.
Well….Someday’s Do Come True….and Here’s the Proof!

The Mack Pack…

I just shot Billy & Alyssa’s Wedding this May, and I was one of The First, The Few, The SWORN to SECRECY (sounds like the Marines!) to find out that they are going to be Parents Soon! So the plan was that before they spilled the beans to EVERYONE ELSE, that we were going to do a Baby Announcement Shoot. So with really great weather for the end of November, just yesterday we shot these Fun Pix around Horseheads. I just LOVE the Swamp ones too …..Just Love how I can make even a Crappy, Brown, Dead Swamp look Great as a Background. Guess THAT’S why I’ve been doing this job Full Time for Nearly Eighteen Years & Counting!

and…………. Can’t wait to meet Mini Mack!

Jordan

Had the pleasure yesterday to shoot this young lady for the second year in a row. If we forget the 99% humidity and the fact that we got drenched at the end of the very last shots while working on the bricks….(and if you look really closely you can see a couple raindrops streaking through the shot)…we had a BLAST!!  Fun Times!  lol

Welcome to Horseheads – “Zim” Style Reborn!

A Big Shout-Out to Cassie Cavanaugh for the GREAT job that she did in adding/painting native Horseheads Artist Eugene “Zim” Zimmerman’s Iconic Three Horses Welcome Sign onto the North/East Wall of my 211 Studio Building on North Main Street. Cassie’s Art Class at HHS recently completed re-creating this sign that now hangs on the Horseheads Historical Society Museum RR Station/Building, and after I saw it there, I knew that I wanted one on my Studio! It just works so perfectly, as you see this neat welcome sign as you approach the Historic Hanover Square Business District from the North. Great Job Cassie! And THANK YOU So Much for your Time & Talent Cassie!
