Janelle & Jordan’s Engagement Shoot

Had a really great Fall Afternoon on Wednesday with my July 7, 2012 Wedding Couple Janelle & Jordan! Got to know each other a bit…..and I got to really realize how TINY Janelle is! Not everyone can fit up there on those window sills! Thanks for being great collaborators with me on this shoot! WE really NAILED IT and I can’t wait for the Wedding!

Jennifer & Dan – August 13, 2011

This Wedding Weekend finds me starting off in Horseheads, NY with Jen & Dan and their Girls, and once I made it on time to the 10:00 A.M. OMG! TEN A.M. Ceremony! Well, the rest of the day was nothing but fun after that early wake-up call! Up to the beautiful surroundings of The Taughannock Farms Inn located in Trumansburg, NY for the Reception, and some really pretty images shot on the Inn property, finished off afterward by our 3/4 mile trail walk out to the base of the mighty Taughannock Falls, the tallest falls this side of the Mississippi River. It wasn’t really flowing too much on our visit….but in only a few weeks that would be a completely different story! I thank my great couple for being real Troopers and even getting a little dirty & wet in our pursuit of some memories for their Wedding Album!

Erin & Ben – August 6, 2011

My Saturday Wedding this weekend finds me in the very pretty little Village of Homer, NY. Erin & Ben were Married in Erin’s Families Church, the very Beautiful & Historic Homer Congregational Church which has been there since 1801. Though a little rain did fall after the Ceremony as we headed out to the Reception @ The Lakewatch Inn in Lansing, NY, we were able to get in a few shots using the very pretty setting of Main Street, as well as the neat Classic Olds 442 that served as today’s limo for Erin & Ben. Thanks for being such Troopers & standing in the rain with me so that we could hit this… “Homer in Homer” if you will! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

Jessica & Eric – August 5, 2011

My Second Wedding Doubleheader of the 2011 campaign finds me starting out the weekend in the Beautiful Village of Hammondsport, NY this very Hot Friday, to capture the day for a great couple, Jessica & Eric. The couple share military backgrounds…Jess is in the U.S. Coast Guard, while Eric is a retired U.S. Marine, & now a U.S. Army Pilot. Thanks you two for your service to our country!
A lot of fun was had by all, and I was thrilled with our efforts together as we really nailed it early in the day with the girls, especially in front of a beautiful old Victorian home next to where the gang got dressed. After the Ceremony, the in-full-bloom Vineyards of Heron Hill Winery served as our perfect backdrop for tons of really Fine Imagery! My thanks go out to EVERYONE in the Bridal Party for the great effort in helping creating these beautiful memories for Jess & Eric! I couldn’t have done it without you! 🙂 Great Job Everyone!

Trisha & Jim – August 3, 2011

I began August 2011 with this very Intimate & Special Wednesday Wedding of Trisha & Jim, overlooking Beautiful Seneca Lake at the quaint The Fox & The Grapes Bed & Breakfast in Lodi, NY. I’ve known Jim’s Dad for 30 years, so it was great catching up with Don and his family throughout the day. Though it rained a bit during the Ceremony itself, even that couldn’t put a damper on the Happiness that everyone shared. Then to top things off, a Tremendous Dinner followed at Suzanne Fine Regional Cuisine located just down the road as you head into the Village of Lodi. A Beautiful Setting & a Delicious Meal topped off the event. Trish & Jim….Thanks for letting me be a part of your Wedding Day Memories!
And Don, Behave Yourself Will ya?!

“Ten Years’ Tears – 9/11 Memories in the Moonlight”

I ran up to Corning tonight just before Midnight to shoot the Corning Credit Union Building that I saw was lit up as an American Flag….but when I got there most of the lights were either burned out or turned off :(, but then I spotted another treasure. Corning Inc.s old HQ Building was lit in honor of the Twin Towers…..and as I was shooting and took in the entire scene I realized that American Flag hanging in the Skywalk over the Street, and that the entire scene resembled Trade Center Plaza and it’s SkyWalk Pedestrian Bridge that passes over West St. in Manhattan, a scene that I shot may times during the ’80’s. That’s the whole trick to Photography…..ALWAYS keep your EYES & MIND OPEN!

Emily & Matt – July 30, 2011

Had a great weekend with Emily & Matt and all the Family & Friends. We captured some pretty shots at the Wagner Vineyards Rehearsal Dinner, then at the Barrett’s beautiful home in the Valley on Saturday Morning.  Follow all that by our walk to the First Presbyterian Church, where Emily joined previous generations of her family, by reciting her vows with Matt inside those historic walls. Then we went and played on the ancient iron Athens Railroad Bridge, and we even had a Train come by just as we finished! The day drew to a close with the great reception at The Elmira Country Club! Thanks Everyone for a very fun weekend, and for all of your help in creating these beautiful, special memories for Emily & Matt.
