Sandy Arrives in Maple Grove…
Shot this at about 3:00 this afternoon as Frankenstorm Hurricane Sandy really arrived in our area with heavy rain, and the gusts of blowing winds kicking up leaves along the dirt paths of our local Village of Horseheads Burial Ground.

As tonight’s great Wedding wound up @ Elmira’s HillTop Inn, our Bride Tara & Her Ladies needed “One More For The Road” but only under the watchful eye of our friendly Irish Proprietor & Owner Mike Sullivan! Mark the Groom, & his Groomsman Gregg obviously had other ideas! Women!!!!

Studio Cleaning Afflicts Me With A Case of “Romnesia!”
Despite it being an Absolutely Beautiful Late Fall Upstate NY Afternoon, I finally got around to doing a little cleaning & re-arranging of my storage & utility room here at the 211 Studio. I hoed out a lot of stuff that I haven’t used in ages, then, hauled it across Horseheads & over to our Old Barn/Warehouse, and while upstairs amidst all of the dust & the “Piles of Time” I happened upon an old metal toy that I used to play with way back in the early 1960’s. I was amazed at how timely this thing still was, because as soon as I spotted it, I felt a little bit like Mitt Romney…WITH MY OWN CAR ELEVATOR!!!! I then started feeling Really Snobbish & Forgetful, and all at once I knew that indeed, I had come down with a severe case of Stage 3 ROMNESIA!
Don’t worry ……it will clear up & be long gone after November 6th!

“Seneca Summer” Sunday
Lyndsay & John’s Sept. 2013 Wedding is a little less than a year off now, so today October 15 we shot their Engagement Session up in Watkins Glen. We had TREMENDOUS weather with temps that almost reached 80, with a nice breeze, and as the afternoon went by the cloud cover rolled in to give us some beautiful, soft, afternoon light. Sometimes EVERYTHING just clicks, and well, all three of us just had a ball and I think these images readily reflect that! Wedding Day here we come!

Nine Years Later…
I had the honor to shoot Lindsay & Tony’s Wedding just about nine years ago. Today, they showed me what they have been up to since then! I got to meet little Ellie, Drew, and new twin arrivals Cal & Caroline! We all had a great time this Crisp, Fall Afternoon up at Sperr Park, and we captured some great memories along the way! Enjoy!

Glenora Magic, an Old Yellow Barn & a Flyin’ Ringbearer!
I just started working on this Wedding, and just had to share a few shots from this fun Rehearsal Shoot…
A few weekends ago I had the pleasure to capture Ashley & Adam’s fun Wedding at the beautiful Glenora Wine Cellars. Because there was a rainy forecast for Saturday, we did a little shooting on Friday afternoon before the Rehearsal. We started out at the absolutely spectacular Glenora Falls. After we got all warmed up, our next stop was just up the road at this Big, Old, Yellow Barn that I have been eyeballing for quite a few years….and as you can see, it didn’t disappoint! Finally, we joined everyone for the vineyard Rehearsal. During all of his exuberance, our little Master of the Rings went flying while on his way in with the rings, but afterward, he was no worse for the tumble! Enjoy these fun moments!
