August’s Rolling Art – August 20, 2011
This collection is from numerous visits to the Horseheads Holding Point Railroad Yards in late July & August. NEAT STUFF!
As the trains roll right past my Studio’s back lot and into the Holding Point Yards, I go out to the tracks and watch for any of this stuff coming in….then the next day I go find the cars parked in the yards and shoot them. Some absolutely incredible stuff! I’d love to hire some of these guys to do one side wall of my Studio Building..but I’m sure they are most likely painted in NYC or Philly or Cleveland….some major Metro Area. I have no idea what any of it’s supposed to mean, but it really is some pretty cool shit!
