Notre Dame Lady Crusaders – Champs! 06/04/11
After very little sleep while shooting the ACS Relay For Life in Horseheads throughout the evening, I took a quick nap then made an afternoon freelancing trek down to Binghamton for the Rochester Catholic Courier to cover the Section 4 – Class C Softball Finals. The Lady Crusaders defeated Tioga by the final score of 2-0..Taylor Drake belted a 2 run homer in the fifth inning for all the runs ND would need, and Sophomore pitching sensation Olivia May struck out 12 on her way to the two hit shutout gem.
